Jupiter in Custody!LIKE FATHER LIKE SON

Eddie’s four-legged son “Jupiter” was taken into custody and charged with 3 counts of biscuiting in the third degree.  It is alleged that Jupiter misrepresented himself as a homeless dog in order to get more than his fair share of doggie treats.  After consuming an inordinate amount of biscuits he developed flatulence which tipped off authorities that something was awry.  Along with biscuiting in the third, he was also charged with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) violations for air pollution.  Jupiter was released on his own recognizance and is believed to be at it again!  Incorrigible – like father, like son.

Pictured here is Jupiter with arresting officer, Oasis Sanctuary adopter and supporter, Jeff Galvin.

Eddie and BBRemember, if a dog were the teacher you would learn things like:

  • When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

  • Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

  • Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

  • Take naps.

  • Stretch before rising.

  • Run, romp, and play daily.

  • Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

  • Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

  • On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

  • On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

  • When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

  • Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

  • Be loyal.

  • Never pretend to be something you're not.

  • If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

  • When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle him/her gently.

I've learned that it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts.
